This course was previously known as Waves, Tides & Currents.

Do you know the difference between tides and currents? Do you know which direction a flood or ebb tide is moving? Here in the San Juan Islands it is extremely important that we plan our dives around these currents. Learn how to read a current guide and calculate the best time to dive in that area.

This course consists of 1-classroom session and 2-dives in the Open Water.

Equipment requirements: Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) with finger spool.
