Here in the Northwest we quite often experience limited visibility due to algae and plankton blooms. This can decrease our visibility to as low as one foot sometimes! That makes for stressful diving conditions compounded by a higher risk of losing your way as well as your buddy.

All this applies to Night diving as you are only able to see what is illuminated by your dive light. This course will teach you proper procedures for low visibility and night diving situations, to make your dive more comfortable and safe.

This course is 1-classroom session and 2-dives in the Open Water.

Requirements: You will need to take the Underwater Navigation Specialty first and each diver will need their own Main light, backup light and tank marker light.
