What’s the difference between a seal and a sea lion? Explained.![]()

😌 Seals look like they’re politely asking for a fishy snack, while sea lions look like they’re silently judging your buoyancy control. But scientifically speaking:![]()

1️⃣ 👂 Sea lions have visible ear flaps, while seals only have small ear holes — no external flaps.![]()
2️⃣ 🧜♂️ Sea lions can walk on land using their large front flippers. Seals? They do the adorable belly wiggle (or “galumph”).![]()
3️⃣ 🗣️ Sea lions are loud, barky, and social. Seals are the quiet introverts of the pinniped world.![]()
